Our newly-built Alpenresidenz Sonnwend is located in the heart of the Zillertal: Zell am Ziller. Zell is an ideal starting point for excursions and walking trails.

Our main hotel - the Sonnenhof - is only 50m away. Our guests may use all Wellness and leisure facilites of the 4*-Sonnenhof free of charge. You can also benefit from the Sonnenhof's excellent cuisine by ordering additional half-board.

Many sights and landmarks can easily be reached by car or public transport - the silver mines in Schwaz, the gold mines in Zell, the waterfall in Krimml or the Svarovski Kristallwelten in Wattens are but a few of them.

The valley station of the Zillertal Arena ski resort (5 mins walk away) is the ideal starting point for beatiful walking tours in summer or extensive fun on the ski slopes in winter!
