Winter holidays, up to 3250m above sea level - only in the Zillertal

Glittering, snow covered mountains, traditional mountain huts and loads of fun and party - the Zillertal is a paradise.

The superskipass allows you to use all means of public transport and ski on 636km of slopes on the entire valley - but you can do more than just ski. Tobogganing and walking are just two of many activites you can enjoy here. You can find many toboggan runs throught the valley, as well as wonderful possibilites for winter walks.

Summer in the Zillertal Alps

There's something to do for everybody - you can either relax and enjoy the sun, go biking, canyoning, rafting, etc.

The Zillertal is also known for its musical activites - you will certainly be able to enjoy a traditional band performing, but we also feature many discos and bars.

Mountaineering has a long tradition here - as you will see. Climb a peak for yourself or pay a visit to the "Hochgebirgspark" - a natural reserve in Ginzling. It focusses on nature and harmony between people and nature.

How can you find us?

by car:

Inntal Motorway A12 past Innsbruck (coming from the west) or Kufstein (from the east) - follow signs to "Zillertal" and stay on the B169 until Zell am Ziller

avoiding Austrian motorways:

coming from Munich - exit in Holzkirchen - Bundesstraße 318 towards Tegernsee - change onto  Bundesstraße 307 Richtung Achensee at Rottach/Egern- through the Achental - Brettfalltunnel - and into the Zillertal

by train

Express trains stop in Jenbach, where you take a train to Zell am Ziller. We will collect you at the station!

by plane

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (70km), Munich (190km) and Salzburg (170km) - there are many direct flights to Innsbruck and excellent train connections to Zell am Ziller. We could also organise a taxi for you.
