It only takes 5 minutes from the Tuxer Fernerhaus to the Gefrorene Wand if you take the most spectacular cable car in the Alps. The extreme georgraphical location of the Gletscherbus3 – bottom station at 2,660 m and top station at 3,250 m altitude – presents special challenges to technology, design, and construction. The flight through the glacier world takes you to the panorama terrace at 3,250 m, which lets you view the summits of the Großglocker, the Dolomites, and the Zugspitze.

Younger guests will enjoy the exciting activities on offer at the Gletscherfloh-Park children’s playground at 3,250 m, or at the Sommerbergalm. The Hintertuxer Glacier offers the perfect venue for day trips. Easily accessible (including disabled facilities), the highest point of the Panorama Terrace at 3,250 m offers an unforgettable view.
